Russian chess – a game for real intellectuals!
Russian chess is only superficially resemble traditional, well-known Indian chess as the ability to create an impact force, forming a tower by capturing the opponent's pieces, removing the figure from the chessboard, fundamentally changes the essence of the strategy and tactics of the game.
A huge contribution to the development of this intellectual sport made detsko-youthful sports school № 4 of the city of Smolensk, which is headed by longtime coach, master of sports, champion of Russia, Russian chess Svirin Oleg Vladimirovich.
Graduates and students of the school annually take prizes at international, national and city competitions. Championship in Suzdal in the framework of the XV festival of sport-logical games "Vladimir-OPEN-2015" is no exception. Athletes from our city became winners in the struggle with the strongest sportsmen of Moscow, Pskov, Moscow, Kovrov, Vladimir, Arkhangelsk and Ivanovo.
The winner of the open championship of Vladimir region Russian chess in the older group was the student of NRU MPEI in Smolensk Manykin, Vladislav, VM group-15 (MAG), beating Karpenko Gregory from Fryazino and Kostin Konstantin, a representative of Moscow.
All the leaders were awarded with cups, medals, diplomas, money prizes, and also the most pleasant memories about the ancient Russian city of the Golden ring – Suzdal.
