The results of the Spartakiade of energy of Russian universities
Traditional sports day for the tenth time gathered teams from Ivanovo (ISPU), Kazan (Kazan state power engineering University), Smolensk (SF MEI) and Moscow (MPEI), to determine who deserved the title of most sports energy Institute.
Competition jubilee Spartakiad was held three days, in each of which it was possible to observe a rich and spectacular fight for prizes in volleyball, basketball, polyathlon, Sambo and swimming.

The best basketball unequivocally athletes from Ivanovo, volleyball, polyathlon and swimming were the strengths of MEI. In the overall team standings Smolensk branch scored 26 points, slightly behind Kazan. In the end, places in the standings were as follows:
I place – IGEU, Ivanovo
II place – MPEI Moscow
III place – Kazan state power engineering University, Kazan
IV place – the branch of Moscow power engineering Institute, Smolensk
On the final day of competition the title of the most skillful athlete deservedly won our volleyball player Alexey Zorin, student, Department of electric power systems.
At the closing of the Olympics, the rector of MPEI Rogalev Nikolay Dmitrievich and the main judge of competitions Dmitry Sagittarius awarded all the winners with medals, cups and diplomas.
