Round table "Ask the Director!"
March 14, 2013 the Council of the Federation Council, Moscow power engineering Institute held the third in the history of the University round table "Ask the Director", the purpose of which was to acquaint students with the new Director-General Alexander Sergeyevich by Fedorovym elected to this position in January 2012.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director on administrative-economic work Yuri Senyuhin, Deputy Director of the financial Maksim Vladimirovich Goncharov, Deputy Director for educational work Natalia Pavlovna Starodvorane the head of the education Department Natalia Skuratova, Deputy head of the training Department Elena Zueva head of the household Svetlana Goranova.
During the hour and a half of the event covered issues related to the educational process, economic aspects and financing, none of which were left without a detailed answer.
Activists, for whom this roundtable is not the first noted changes in the format of the meeting, which was held in an informal atmosphere. Alexander briefly told the students about his career and about his program, which he expects to take place as a result of his leadership of the University. The participants recognized the Director as a man with a good sense of humor that interest applies to all suggestions of students for improvement of living conditions in the branch. In particular, Alexander welcomed the proposal to hold early instruction introductory classes, where the freshmen will tell you what they will teach in the University as related subjects with each other and how they will be able to apply in practice the knowledge acquired. Also was welcomed the proposal to hold regular meetings of students with potential employers that will help them to determine the direction vector of self-development and talk about the possibilities of their future employment after graduation.
For questions and suggestions of students related to administrative and economic aspects, answered Yuri Senyuhin, who noted the growing interest on the part of students to the University and expressed the administration's readiness for constructive dialogue and sharing with students working to improve it. In the first half of his speech, Yuriy Nikolayevich commented on those questions that students sent in advance via one of the feedback forms with the Board of elders. Mostly domestic issues of hostels and several uchebnyh audiences. The meeting participants made several proposals for the development of healthy lifestyle among students. Then Yuri answered questions from the audience.
Maxim Vladimirovich Goncharov gave comments on issues related to funding. With great interest was met with the question about the quality of work in the branch Wi-Fi and speed Internet access, in response to which the Deputy Director on financial work promised to renegotiate the terms of the contract with the Internet service provider branch. It was also voiced dissatisfaction with students ' current quality of banking services and a proposal to consider alternative banks with a higher quality of service for the payment of all types of scholarships. After hearing the opinion of students on this issue, Maxim Vladimirovich promised to study this issue, taking into account the results of the survey conducted by the Council of elders prior to the event and revealed the most important for students criteria for banking services.
At the end of the meeting Alexander at the request of the participants answered questions from a small blitz of the questionnaire, and then gave a few parting words and wishes of the audience, and expressed interest and readiness to further engage in constructive dialogue, provide support and to answer all questions that arise in students.
