The selection stage of competition of the program "UMNIK" Fund of assistance to development of small forms of enterprises in scientific-technical sphere

A report on the results of the qualifying stage of the contest "UMNIK"

December 11, 2013, on the basis of the Smolensk chamber of Commerce and industry for the first time in Smolensk region was held a qualifying round of competition of the program "UMNIK" Fund of assistance to development of small forms of enterprises in scientific-technical sphere, aimed at supporting young scientists in the age of 18-28 years, seeking self-realization through innovation. For consideration by the expert Council, which from the Foundation was carried out under the guidance of the curator of Central and North-Western Federal district Anton Sorokin, were presented to 12 projects in such areas as information technology, medicine, new devices and hardware complexes, biotechnologies. In the competition the best 5 projects, two of which are developed by graduate students of MPEI branch in Smolensk:

"Development of innovative power circuits of rectifiers for wind turbines", the author is the student of AIMT I. A. Kruglikov;

"Robot-presenter ARP-1," the author is the student of AIMT K. O. Kiselev.
