The opening of the Center of support of students ' project activities in the field of technical Sciences
17 Oct 2019 in the framework of the festival of science NAUKA 0 in the branch of the "national research UNIVERSITY "MPEI" in Smolensk at the address: PR-t Gagarina, d. 22, the Opening of the center of support of students ' project activities in the field of technical Sciences, established in the framework of the Presidential grant.
In the opening ceremony of acceptance by the Member of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation S. D. Leonov, Deputy head of the Department of Smolensk region for education and science Khnychev D. S. and Executive Director of the Association on the identification, development and professional orientation motivated children and youth of Smolensk region "Smolensk Olympus" Ivanova O. V.
The Centre's work is aimed at developing interest, knowledge, and skills of students in secondary schools in the Smolensk region in the sphere of project activities and technical direction (hereinafter – the Center). Through the work of the Centre, students are provided with opportunities:
- To learn, consult and participate in the activities of the technical work conducted on the territory of Russia and the Smolensk region;
- Get training on the basics of patent research (definition of the status and trends of the development of technology, the search for analogs and prototypes);
- Get training on the basics of an economic substantiation of design decisions and elements of business planning (assessment of necessary investments, payback period, and profitability of the project)
- To obtain advice on methods of presentation of scientific and technical information (recommendations for structuring work and bringing the style of presentation adopted in the scientific and technical information standards)
- Use specialized equipment for carrying out Assembly, debugging and study of models produced in the framework of the project activities (equipment for working with mechanical elements, electrical circuits, and instrumentation)
The Centre will enhance the interest of students to technical creativity and the formation of stable kollaboratsii motivated students, teachers, and eventually employers.
