The Department "Electromechanical systems" (EMS) approved by the order of MEI No. 108 of 30 may 2003 and founded on the basis of the two oldest departments of the branch: "Electrical engineering" and "Automated electric drive"that existed previously in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of higher education of July 8, 1968 and September 1, 1969. | |
Currently, the Department of EMS is: - 15 highly qualified teachers (4 professors, 9 associate professors, 1 senior teacher, 1 assistant); - 12 teaching laboratories with modern equipment, 3 multimedia classrooms for lectures and practical classes, computer class, and laboratory research; about 200 students enrolled in all the courses in the specialty "power and electrical engineering" in educational programs of undergraduate and graduate programs; - quality education that gives the opportunity for successful employment. Graduates of the Department of EMS required by enterprises and organizations specializing in the design and manufacture of motion control systems, high-precision electromechanics, electronic power Converter technology. The application of their knowledge graduates as design engineers, electronics engineers, designers, programmers, microcontrollers and digital control of electrical drives and various other electrical equipment.
